Mid-Level Civil Engineer

Mid-Level Civil Engineer

Client is seeking a Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join their Engineering Team. Under the supervision of the Lead Engineer, the Mid-Level Engineer will assist in providing technical expertise and guidance on various projects for Federal, State, Local, and Private Sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assignments under the general supervision the Lead Civil Engineer or Project Manager
• Assist in the training of EITs and architect interns
• Utilize industry standards for engineering techniques and procedures
• Develop, prepare and/or review engineering designs and specifications for structures, facilities and/or systems
• Develop, prepare, and review reports and studies to identify and recommend engineering solutions
• Perform construction observation of engineering systems operations, structures, and facilities in the field
• Quality control for engineering best practices, statutes, and regulations
• All other duties as assigned in a cross-disciplinary team of engineers, planners, and architects
• Coordinate with allied consultants to develop buildable projects that meet the letter and spirit of the prevailing regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) License (multiple states preferred)
• Have 8-10 years of experience, including two years of field observation
• Be proficient in AutoCAD (Civil3D a bonus) and MS Office
• Have knowledge of software packages related to the field of study/industry
• Excel at problem-solving and communication skills

Salary: Commensurate with license, education, and experience
